The Wye River Memorandum

  • Five basic issues are dealt with in the Memorandum, namely further redeployment, security, interim committees and economic issues (transitional period issues), permanent status negotiations and unilateral actions
  • Overall, the conclusion of the Wye Memorandum is very important. If implemented, it will bring the peace process back on track and bring the two sides to a new threshold
